Our Code & Ethics

We believe that writing is for everyone, and what we see on writing platforms should reflect that. It shouldn’t be a dream one chases, but a practice one does without fear—be it in a secret file on your laptop, a journal on a desk, or on an online lit mag under a name that gives the freedom to be another aspect of one’s self. We want to create an approachable space for first-time authors and artists, those underrepresented in literature and the arts, BIPOC/BAME and LGBTQIA+ creators, and people with disabilities. We want to give air to themes and topics that exist and should not be swept under the rug. However, we have no interest in giving platform to racism, sexism, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, shaming (body or otherwise), plagiarism, misrepresentation, and purposeless or gratuitous physical or sexual violence.
